3 Amigos do Cape Wrath!

Help us raise funds to improve mental health and wellbeing in our young people.

A Big Problem to Solve

What we plan to do - complete the Cape Wrath Ultra in May 2024 to raise funds to deliver a innovative two year programme offering skills and knowledge to co-create solutions to improve mental health and wellbeing in young people across Ireland. So just imagine running 400km over rough terrain and the last wilderness in the UK over 8 days. That's the equivalent of 10 marathons over those 8 days!Add to that 10000m of climb - that's the equivalent of climbing Everest. Oh and did we mention that we've only a 1 in 3 chance of completing the Cape Wrath Ultra!

Our Ask - Financial Sponsorship

We kindly ask you to consider sponsoring us in this crucial cause. We understand that a sponsorship is a big commitment, and we want you to know that your contribution, no matter the size, will have a profound and direct impact. Every little bit counts, and together we can ensure that mental health is given the attention, understanding, and support it deserves.Through personal and business support we would like to raise a minimum of £40,000/€47,000 to deliver a youth-led project in September 2024.
We will promote the programme through a range of charity partners, youth clubs and schools connected to Young Social Innovators and Positive Steps Outdoors. Additionally, we will access young people through existing Young Social Innovator programmes – we support approximately 10,000 young people per year creating new solutions and ideas solving Ireland’s social and environmental issues.
